I’m Vicky Trochez!
I offer graphic design, illustration, photography and retro style printing services.
I grew up on a steady diet of Saturday morning cartoons, SEGA Genesis, and rollerblading.
I was born in San Diego, CA and lived there long enough to:
1. Watch my pet bunny (aptly named Fluffbutt) be devoured by the neighbors dog.
2. See my Mom run through the house terrified of the 5 lizards that came up our shower drain, which I of course proceeded to keep as pets.
3. Dig up some plastic tubes out of our backyard that I honestly believed to be Dinosaur bones.
4. Develop a love for drawing/coloring.
&
5. Own a 5′ 5″ long python for 3 months.
After a couple young years hanging with the rhinos at the Wild Animal Park we packed up and hauled out for the Port of Los Angeles, San Pedro, CA. Most of my adolescent life was spent skating the streets of San Pedro. I was the fastest/only girl on the Fort MacArthur Baseball team and also dominated at all ensuing Red Rover challenges. I learned about bugs, pranks and Xena the Warrior Princess from my neighbor, Mike, while my other neighbor, Jay, gave me the 411 on Playstation, boogie boarding, and fruit roll-ups. I attended elementary school in inner city L.A. where I learned many valuable life lessons. For example, I no longer sip from drinking fountains after witnessing a small child puke in one.
After many years digging for hermit crabs, drawing my own comic strips and playing street ball with my friends, my folks packed us up again and moved us to Thousand Oaks, CA. There I partook in softball, powerpoint animations, drawing exchanges, ultimate frisbee and some serious grocery cart racing.
Today I live in Los Angeles, CA. I’m an intern at Stoopid Buddy Stoodios in Burbank, CA. I have a small dog friend named Tyrone, I DJ my own radio show, and I run a print shop & darkroom.
I’m a super fun kid with a love for visual cohesion, live music and solid friendships. Let’s create something together!
Cheers.
